The Ocean Technology Innovation Market Exchange for Dalmatia and Trøndelag (OTIMEDT) project enables selected blue economy stakeholders to network with companies from the Croatian region of Dalmatia, which includes bilateral virtual events and onsite B2B meetings in Split and Trondheim.

Who can apply?

All companies, institutions, universities, and other stakeholders from the area of ​​the blue economy from the region of Trøndelag. All stakeholders operating in the following sub-sectors of the undersea (maritime) and sea (marine) industry, as well as other stakeholders, can apply:

  • Construction of ships/vessels and floating structures
  • Technical consultancy
  • Drones and autonomy
  • Software
  • Propulsion and maneuvering
  • Technical equipment
  • R&D
  • Subsea equipment

Included marine industry subsectors are;

  • Technical advisory
  • Farming technologies
  • Fish health, environment and R&D
  • Seafood farming and processing

Virtual events will be organized in the form of pitching sessions. After the virtual event, two B2B meetings will be organized in Split and Trondheim in April and June 2024, based on the selection of stakeholders from Croatia and Norway who expressed interest in realizing bilateral cooperation.

About the OTIMEDT Initiative

Objective:

‍To establish routes for strong bilateral cooperation of blue economy actors from regions of Trøndelag (Norway) and Dalmatia (Croatia)

About the Initiative:

Through the Initiative activities, two mapping reports have been created, one for the Norwegian region Trøndelag and one for the Croatian region Dalmatia, through which key actors in the blue economy sector have been identified, and with the help of the aforementioned mapping reports, events (online and live) will be organized between stakeholders in each region to increase the possibility of cooperation and exchange experiences and best practices in the field of the blue economy.
